Ho Chi Minh – Mekong – Phan Thiet

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Ho Chi Minh City

On arrival at HCM Airport, welcomed by your tour guide and transfer to your hotel in Saigon downtown. Free at your leisure, overnight in HCMC.

Day 2: HCMC – Cu Chi Tunnels – Mui Ne (B, L)

Morning head out to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels which were an incredible underground network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence. Start discovering Cu Chi on displaying are various man-traps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters, some permitted areas of the tunnel system, which is seen as an underground village in Cu Chi. There are field hospitals, weapon factories, kitchen, command centers, storage facilities, and trap doors. This system was made by hand, which proved the Vietnamese’s intelligence and creativity in the war.

Have lunch at local restaurant, then depart for Mui Ne beach in Phan Thiet. Arrive in Mui Ne, check-in your beach front resort, enjoy your stay in Mui Ne beach.

Day 3: Visit sand dunes, reclining Buddha – HCMC (B, L)

7:00AM Start the day early to admire the sunrise over the Mui Ne white and red sand dunes. Enjoy the exhilarating experience of sliding from the top of a large dune to the bottom on a wooden board. Then visit Canyon, a fishing village. Stop to take photos at the enchanting Fairy Stream.

Check out your resort then heading back to Ho Chi Minh City, stopover to visit the reclining Buddha statue on top of the Ta Cu mountain (by cable car). Return to HCMC, dinner and overnight at hotel in HCMC.

Day 4: HCMC – My Tho, Can Tho (B, L)

Morning, check out your hotel and transfer to My Tho, take a boat trip downstream to Ben Tre, where you have the opportunity to discover the local people life in Mekong Delta with popcorn and pop-rice workshop, rice paper mill, coconut candy mill, fruit gardens… Biking or transferring by horse carriage on village road, stop at orchard, taste honey with tea or wine. Have lunch on islet at the local house, experience the friendliness and hospitality of the local. After lunch, proceed to Can Tho, the city located on Mekong River bank. Check in your hotel & overnight in Can Tho.

Day 5: Can Tho – HCMC (B, L)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Ninh Kieu wharf for a boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating Market. Time for taking part to the local activities and taking pictures. Then continue by boat to Phong Dien Islands. The car picks up at Phong Dien and transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Optional: Enjoy a dinner on Saigon Cruise with fire dance performance. Overnight at hotel in HCMC

Day 6: HCMC – Departure (B)

Morning to visit to Ho Chi Minh City highlight: Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Old Post Office and get yourself free rest of the day. Go shopping at Ben Thanh Market..

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
